Career Services for Alumni

SDSU alumni can use Handshake, our online system, with access to hundreds of job and internship listings. Upload your resume, schedule on-campus interviews, participate in career fairs and workshops, consult with career counselors, and more.

Ways to Give Back

There are many ways that alumni can share their professional expertise, wisdom and experience with current students. For example, you can mentor a student through the Aztec Mentor Program (AMP), become an Industry Consultant, hire a student, participate in career fairs, speak on panels or host information sessions. Hire a Student

Work opportunities, such as internships and part-time jobs, help students develop key skills and knowledge to become competitive candidates in the job market and thriving employees at their workplaces. By recruiting through SDSU Career Services, you can open the door for a student and help them launch their career.

Mentor a Student

Mentoring through AMP is a meaningful and rewarding way to give back to SDSU and fellow Aztecs. Connect with SDSU students through Aztec Network to share your expertise and wisdom, and to help them navigate the workforce.

Become an Industry Consultant

Volunteer a few hours of your free time to share your industry insight and career journey with SDSU students. Take appointments with them to conduct resume reviews, mock interviews, networking strategies, and more to help them elevate their career.
