SDSU Career Services empowers students and alumni to build bridges to their future careers. There are many ways you, as parents of students and alumni, can help us.
- Point your student to our section on Connecting a Major to a Career.
- Keep up with Career Services' event schedule by referring to our schedule of workshops and events (PDF). (Download Adobe Reader here)
- Encourage your student to attend our Career Fairs.
- Encourage your company to register for Career Fairs, participate in the On Campus Interview program, and present Employer Information Sessions. Register as an employer on Aztec Career Connection.
- You can volunteer to do resume reviews, informational interviews, job shadowing, or provide internships for SDSU students. Register as a Professional Network contact on Aztec Career Connection ProNet. You can choose to have as much or as little contact as you'd like with interested students.
Get involved with the Aztec Parents Association and participate in distributing grants, some of which may go to Career Services. In recent years, the Aztec Parents Association has helped our office acquire public computer workstations, accessibility software for students with disabilities, and other items.
