Information and Services for Alumni
We are happy to provide our services free of charge to alumni within 3 months of the date of your most recent enrollment in classes. After this grace period, our services are available for nominal fees, per the descriptions below.
Career Counseling & Employment Package - $75/yr
Our most economical package includes:
- Career Counseling (one hour) - Career counselors are available to help you with any career-related concern. Optional: The Strong Interest Inventory, a thorough computerized assessment, is $10 extra.
- Unlimited access to the Career Resource Room - The Career Resource Room contains a wide variety of materials and resources to assist alumni with finding career employment. Directories, job descriptions, current salary surveys, and videotapes are just a sample of the useful materials available.
- Workshops - Designed to enhance your skills for the job search, career-related workshops are offered regularly. The offerings include Interviewing Techniques, How to Pick a Major, How to Work a Career Fair, and more.
- On-Campus Recruiting - Career Services schedules approximately 8,000 on-campus interviews each year. Recruiters representing business and industry, government, school districts and graduate schools come to campus to interview students and alumni for a variety of career positions.
- On-line Job Listings - Hundreds of jobs are posted each day. Additional jobs are posted in the Career Resource Room. Access to these listings over the Internet is available 24/7.
- Admission to Career Fairs - Career Services hosts several career fairs throughout the year for those seeking internships or career employment opportunities. The fairs offer an opportunity to talk informally with employers and educators about opportunities with their organizations.
- Electronic résumé Submission - The system allows storage of up to 10 resumes and other documents (e.g., cover letters) and enables electronic submission to employers.

Employment Package - $50/yr
This package provides access to the following:
- Aztec Career Connection (includes electronic résumé upload and submission, on-campus interviewing, and more).
- Job Listings - Thousands of jobs are posted online each month. Additional jobs are posted in the Career Resource Room.
- Workshops - Workshops designed to enhance your skills for the job search are offered regularly. Click here to view the current semester's workshop schedule (PDF).
- Employer Information Sessions - These sessions are generally informal "information exchanges" that provide you with an excellent opportunity to learn about a particular employer, program, or graduate school. These are useful for both career job seekers and undergraduates exploring career options.
- On-Campus Recruiting - Career Services schedules thousands of on-campus interviews each year. Recruiters representing business and industry, government, school districts and graduate schools come to campus to interview students and alumni for a variety of career positions.
- Career Resource Room -The Career Resource Room, located in Room 1206 at Career Services, contains a wide variety of materials and resources to assist you along your career path. Directories, job descriptions, current salary surveys, and promotional videos are just a sample of the useful materials available.
- Career Fairs - Hundreds of organizations come to campus each year. This is your opportunity to see what they can offer you, and let them know what you have to offer.
